these covers are great and they work well with the Thirsties diapers and with prefolds. they have a pocket in the front to tuck the prefold into as well which is nice. the x-small were great for our newborn and i'm moving up to the small size now. (Posted on 9/1/09)

I started out with home made covers and Gerber rubber pants. I'm not a seamstress so my covers leaked-a lot. The Gerber's worked, but in the newborn phase there was a lot of explosive poohs that spread down the leg when pulling them off. The thirstie is the first wrap I tried and I was in love. They're roomy, but you can still just lay in a prefold and it will hold it in place. You can use a snappi or pins and it works great that way too, plus it makes for a trimmer look. I haven't found a fitted diaper they don't work with yet. The only leaks we've had are user error and not because of the quality of the wrap. I love the gussets, they've saved may a pair of pants from explosive breastfed poohs. I've tried other name brands, but always grab these first. I recommend these to everyone I know, and now to you too. You can hand wash these, throw them over your shower rod and they're ready for use later that day. Throw them in the washer with your diapers or regular clothes, and they still come out looking good to. These are a win/win diaper cover in my opinion. Get these and you won't need any other covers.
